Project Overview
- Demolition and Excavation: The existing cricket nets, posts, and footings will be removed, and the area will be excavated to a consistent level gradient.
- Concrete and Synthetic Grass: A concrete slab will be installed, followed by new synthetic turf suitable for sports activities. The total construction area is approximately 320 .
- Perimetral Fencing: A 3-meter high, black-colored chain mesh fence will be installed around the perimeter.
- Retractable Nets and Roof: A retractable net system will be installed, which can be easily deployed and retracted for flexible use. The roof will be 4 meters high.
Solutions
- Flexible Practice Space: A retractable net system will be installed to allow the nets to be easily deployed and retracted, providing a flexible space for practice.
- Durable Playing Surface: A concrete slab and new synthetic turf will be installed, with the turf being suitable for games and sports.
- Site Safety and Management: The contractor is required to undertake service location checks, install temporary site fencing, and manage deliveries to minimize disturbance to the school’s operations.
